Sandra is based in Newcastle, NSW.

Her strong interest in printmaking whilst completing a degree in Visual Arts has evolved into a passion for surface design.

Working for many years designing and printing metreage, clothing and quilt covers, Sandra now burns her designs into silk velvet and satin using the devoré technique, the perfect medium for a printmaker.

Prints, patterns and symbols are inspired from decorative periods in history, generated through the computer and etched into fabric by screen printing, and then hand dyed.

Its all about the pattern and colour coming together on the fabric, and creating something that will be much admired, and worn often.
