These pages are a record of the third End to End walk of the Heysen Trail organised by the Friends of the Heysen Trail, as seen through my photographic eye.
These pages are intended to be used by participants of the walk as a momento of their efforts. Non-participants are welcome to view these pages to see what it is all about! Participants are welcome to make copies of these pages for their own records.

On day 39, I discovered that my latest camera, a Kodak C875, has a "two times self timer". This means that, once the trigger is releaseed, the camera waits for 10 seconds, takes a photo, waits another 10 seconds and takes a second photo. Using a java-script, as described in the Web Developers Notes, I can display both photos alternatively, with a one-second delay, which gives an impression of movement. It is quite amazing how much action can occur in 10 seconds!
Some of these animations are from two shots taken at at different times. These are usually hand-held and so the photos need to be cropped so that they line up.
