The 48s

• The 48s    Official website, in Japanese. Currently not there...

I'm not sure what's happening regarding The 48s at the moment since the band is currently reduced to the vocalist/ guitarist/songwriter Much Baby. The last time I saw him play it was with support musicians.

Their most recent bassist was Chikamatsu, formerly of Deep★People, who left the band in March 2009. Most of the photos below feature the former bassist, Yoshimunon. The drummer, Tommy Simon (Togashi Tatsuya), left the band in July '09.

The 48s first mini album "Dame de kekkou" (THCA-053) came out in March 2007 and contains seven great tracks. The first full album "Subarashii hibi to tsuki no shita" (YNPC-0001) was released in 2008 and is better again.

• October 28th 2007 at Rock Rider    A few hasty photos taken by Jimi but at least now there are some shots of Chikamatsu-san. The poster for the oneman was on the door at Rock Rider.

• July 16th 2005 at Fandango    Here are some photos from Fandango in July 2005. It was a brilliant night, with a repeat of the lineup Kouichi recommended to me back in February - The 50 Kaitenz, The 48s, The Cabaret and Deep People. Unfortunately I didn't pick a very good spot to take photos from and most of them were wrecked by one of the lights at stage right.
