The Bawdies, Roy (Ryo Watanabe, Vocals & Bass), Jim (Yoshihiko Kimura, Guitar & Chorus), Taxman
(Taku Funayama, Guitar & Vocals) and Marcy (Masahiko Yamaguchi, Drums & Chorus) really do look
like they've just dropped through a time warp. But however rooted in the 60s their stuff may be
it kicks ass right now and
they're great live or recorded. And it isn't actually a crime to be that cute, although it probably should be.
They've got quite a few disks out now and they're doing another oneman tour later in the year. The Bawdies have become really popular lately, though, and you'll be pushing shit uphill to get tickets for the smaller venues, so good luck with that one. And the tour final is at Budokan. Budokan. Holy shit.
