The Homesicks

The Homesicks were reborn in April 2007 with Nozaki Junya still on vocals, Akahori-san on guitar, Miida "Fat Buddy Lee" Shinji on bass, and "Ki-yan" on drums. Finally, in June this year, I got a chance to see the new line-up and I'm happy to say they still kick arse. They don't play any of the old stuff, it's all new and it all rocks. Please come back to Kansai again soon, guys!

The Homesicks in the photos below, from 2006, broke up after playing their last gig (minus Michio) in the November of that year in their hometown, Sapporo. They were Junya (vocals and harp), Tanaka Toru (guitar), Miyazawa Hideyuki (bass) and Ozawa Michio (drums), a great, intense rock band who gave powerful live performances. I've got a couple of their CDs, 'No Titled'(RRR-003) and 'Kokoro kayowasete'(UXCR-001) and I recommend them both.

Romanised lyrics.

Just the one song so far but it still puts the Homesicks into a group that so far only contains three bands!
