21st August 2003 - Say hello to my little friend! (by Derek)
(Well, nephew actually.) Lucas Keam Ee
Wee, was born 0845 on the 21st August 2003. That makes him a Leo Water Goat born
during the hours of the Dragon. (God that sounds geeky - Dungeons and Dragons
geeky - like I'm about to describe how many hit points he's got.) It's great
being an uncle! All the fun with none of the responsibility. Suits my
personality just fine. I would love to teach him how to drive recklessly, gamble
like a shark, and pick up girls. The problem is, I don't know how to do any of
that myself. Maybe I could just teach him how to swear.
23rd July 2003 - The Game is Afoot! (by Derek)
Amazed myself today by putting up twenty posters in four campuses in one and a
half hours! That includes getting them stamped at the respective student
associations, and hunting down noticeboards. The posters are for the vacancy
in the 9 Wallala ensuite, dear reader. Including utilities and cleaning, $95
is not too steep, eh? (I'm sure you'll tell me
if I need my head examined.)
