(Mar 11) Rhea has the house now. She did a better job in 5 days than I did in 5 years. I'm not unhappy things didn't fall to pieces when I took my hands off. I met the new housemates and I'm impressed. They're all wonderful people but ...

The house has too many with me around. I'm like a fifth wheel, a spare tire.

The mortgage is dead and buried. Rest in peace you mongrel.

They've backfilled me at every furnace I've stoked over the years. Feeling quite numb about that. No sad goodbyes or well wishes (yet). Do people appreciate what I've done? Do I? It's only been in my hand-overs that I quantised and catalogued my tasks and achievments. It's a revelation how many engines I kept turning over the years not to mention how much coal I've shovelled.

No wonder I'm black.

Everything's moving on and there's no reason for me to stay. So as you may have heard, it's off to Japan.

Even the xbox has found someone else.
