2006 Australian Winter Olympic Resource
"Primary school teachers can access over 70 Olympic Winter Games-themed, cross-curriculum resources. This educational resource has been structured around Gardnerís Multiple Intelligences and Bloomís Thinking Taxonomy. This has been done deliberately, to ensure that the activities can be used in any Stateís curriculum framework and linked by teachers to their own unit planning."

"Record team picked for Winter Games
A record 40 athletes will represent Australia at next month's Winter Olympics in Turin, Italy.
Twenty-two men and 18 women make up Australia's biggest ever Winter Games team, which includes the country's first competitors for the women's bobsleigh and skeleton events.
The size of the team for the February 10-26 Olympics is a big increase over the 27 athletes sent to the last Winter Games in Salt Lake City four years ago".   ABC Net
