You need to tell the zookeepers
there about yourself and how to care for you.

Endangered
Australian Animals
You may find other sites and also
use books to research your chosen animal.
Your Task
Tell the
zookeepers how to recognise you.
|
Write
about size, shape, colour, covering, features.
Include drawings or photos.
|
Tell them what
features the enclosure they are getting ready for you will need to
have to suit you.
|
Write
about the habitat you live in in the wild.
What activities must it enable you to do?
What shelter must it provide?
|
Tell them what
they will feed you.
|
Write
about what you eat in the wild.
|
What to do
Go
here and download the data
chart where you can make notes as you research your animal.
Use your notes to write a report
about the animal, its habitat and needs. This will form the basis of your
final presentation. In your report you must note the sources of your
information.
Design
your enclosure at the zoo, making drawings and a map of it. Assume that
money is no object, and that there is plenty of space. The drawings and
map will form part of your final presentation.
Presentation
Ideas to choose from:
1. Go
here to download your Zoo
Animal Introduction Page to write your final report for the zoo.
2. Design your own multimedia presentation on computer.
3. Prepare and present a talk to representatives of the zoo.
