Australians. The proclamation of 2003 as the International Year of Freshwater by the United Nations

Water Week , 19-25 October
2003
National Water Week is about
raising public awareness of water issues. This important event is held in all States and Territories
and is generally held during the third week of October each year. It is a focus for the community as
well as for the water industry and organisations entrusted with managing the states' water resources.
