A Turtle for the Teacher

PC's version- seems to be very popular and has lots of ideas for users to work
with.
MSWLogo, an educational programming language works beautifully with
a nice sized window. Must be downloaded though and resources found
here. Can change pen colour and
background etc.
Hard lesson to make a particular shape. Not
great unless you want to make the shapes ;-)

This seems to be a good 'Logo" and one I have
used in my classes.

Online! RLogo - is a nice online Applet. The attraction here, is that for younger
children, it is set up so that to move the turtle, the user clicks the
button - forward, left, right, colour etc. 8 lessons come after the applet
to help learn the program. Great stuff! |
