Strategies for working net-smarter *
Internet
experts primarily say the same things about what is required
to achieve online success.
Basically to be successful
online you need these five things;
-
A web site that SELLS
-
A QUALITY product or
service that fills a need
-
An existing group of
people who are willing to BUY
-
A means of
COMMUNICATING with these people on an ongoing basis to
establish a professional relationship with them
-
An automated follow-up
mechanism
1. A web
site that SELLS
A web site has to
"sell" to two primary groups;
AND... if you haven't
successfully sold to the first group [Search Engines] then you
just don't get to sell to the visitors, because the SE's don't
send you those visitors [note:
there are numerous techniques that can attract visitors to
your site, but SE's are still THE significant, free source of
traffic.]
Selling To The Search
Engines
So, how do you
"sell" to the SE's? ... with keywords, and the
correct weighting of keywords on your web pages.
To master this knowledge
you can either hire a specialist, buy a program that does it
for you... or use Site
Build It!; a web site system that finds the profitable
keywords for you, analyses your pages for the correct
weighting of these keywords, and then submits your pages to
the SE's automatically PLUS it does a host of other
things.
Selling To The Visitors
Okay, let's say that you've
got the SE's part right. Visitors arrive and now you
have convince them to do something. You have to SELL to
them.
So, how do you do
this? There are two aspects to this;
A. The structure of web
site itself, and Make
Your Site Sell is the definitive work on this topic, and
then...
B. Words...
Copywriting... Sales copy. If you're not a skilled
writer then you're going to have to become one... and you can
learn how to do this here... Make
Your Words Sell
2. A
QUALITY product or service that fills a need
Your web wealth is in your
own head! All you need to do is dig it out and turn it
into a product or service that benefits others... but how?
Make
Your Knowledge Sell explains in detail how to do
this, and then you'll use Site Build It! - SBI
Manager - to decide if your brainstorm idea for a
successful web site is actually profitable before you
construct one single page.
3. An
existing group of people who are willing to BUY
Where do MOST people on the
web get their information?
-
Search Engines
-
Directories
So where - as a foundation
for your web business - do you need to be the most
accessible? "In the SE's and the Directories."
What SBI!
does is optimise your chances of being found by people who are
searching for your type of information on the web
It does this with SBI
Manager which finds the most profitable keywords and phrases
for you (in relation to the theme of your site.) These
profitable keywords and phrases are what people are actually
using to search for your type of information on the web.
Now, this is what ALL
Search Engine submission programs attempt to do, yet with SBI
this specialist functionality is just one of a whole suite of
powerful features included in the SBI package.
[For
example: Five of the key Feed Your Hungry Mind web pages are
consistently ranked #1 with 4 of the prominent Search Engines,
and also FYHM is currently ranked 5/10 on Google.
All
of this has been automatically achieved with SBI [and we
haven't even got our whole promotional system completely
operational yet!!]
IMAGINE
the amount of free traffic this brings us :-)
4.
A means of COMMUNICATING
Newsletters,
ezines, zines: Once a visitor lands on your site you
need to continuing communicating with him or her. An
ezine requires a different technology to run it (and the
associated learning curve that goes with that).
However the recent
Site
Build It! upgrade incorporated a feature rich ezine server
into its system, so essentially SBI has now got all of the
critical web essentials included in this one package.
Shortly an
ecommerce module will be added to the SBI system,
so this effectively makes SBI an A-Z web complete
system.
The
other important aspect of SBI is that the sole skill needed to
operate ALL of its complex features and utilities is the
ability to click a mouse button.
So, as you can see the Sitesell
suite of products deliver 4 out of the 5 ESSENTIALS for web
success... and PAR
[premier multimedia autoresponder system] delivers number 5.
