An
Introduction to J P Instrell-Walker by company director James
Instrell-Walker ‘Facility Management’, ‘Resource Management’, ‘Technical Brokerage’. These are all terms I have used over years to try and explain what sets us apart from other companies.
Imagine being able to discuss the total requirements of your next event with one person. Lighting, sound, staging, A/V, theme, entertainment, venue, catering. You have your own in-house event management team. All you really need is help with equipment and specialist staff supply and management.
The
result is total supply from one company.
The reality is supply from 20 companies, co-ordinated and managed
through one focus point.
You see ordinarily when you speak to a supplier they are only interested in selling what resources they have. In fact in many cases you will either get inappropriate equipment because it was in stock, or a “sorry I can’t help you”. We work in the opposite direction. Every supplier in Australia is a trading partner for us. It is normal for me to make a dozen phone calls to suppliers before I find the product I want at the right price with the right support… for your event.
It is also important to note that we do indeed purchase equipment for hire and currently stock a large amount of equipment. Usually this is when the equipment is required by our clients regularly and we cannot find it for the right price from other suppliers.
I have over 15 years experience in the entertainment industry specialising in event production management.
In the last 12 months I have managed and supplied production for over ninety Centenary of Federation, Year of the Outback, Festival and Corporate events including: The Glenelg Jazz Festival, The Great Australian Outback Cattle Drive, Sounds Under the Southern Cross, Federation Sunday and Croc Fest.
Some
of my clients include: Showcorp
(Sydney), Corporate Theatre (Perth), GTE International (Melbourne),
Adelaide Festival Centre Trust, Barossa Wine and Tourism Assoc,
Montreaux Jazz Festival (Switzerland).
I
look forward to meeting you in person to discuss the needs of your next
event.
Kind Regards
