HIDE CONSTRUCTION by TIM NEWBERY

I have standardised my hides to a simple construction that is also cheap to make. The dimensions are one metre by one metre by two metres tall. I like to be able to stand up to stretch at times.
The posts are collapseable tent poles. The hide material is the same as that used for Beach Shelters. It is important for you the occupant to get air through your hide in hot weather.

Erected Hide

The top is 6mm steel reinforcing rod.

Rope

The guy ropes are woven nylon cord similar to that used in Sash Cords with the guys tightened with a piece of Aluminium flat with two holes drilled in it.

The pictures show the construction clearly.

I can also mount this hide on a sedctional tower I have built.
