ADELAIDE HILLS KENNEL CLUB

JANUARY 2005

We travelled down to Adelaide on the Friday. Arrived at Oakbank at about 2 in the afternoon after nearly boiling the VS commodore going up the Adelaide hills freeway. It was a hot day.

We were then told in no uncertain terms that we were not allowed to set up before 4 however while we waited we saw several others were setting up. We were even told that we could not go up to the camping area to let the dogs out to cool down. We then decided to go down the road to an oval so the dogs could come out of the trailer and cool off.

At exactly 4 we proceeded to set up camp on back oval and then beside the ring on the front oval.

Broke the rear skirt on the VS Commodore on this trip. Also had to remain in Adelaide to fix cooling system and buy new springs for back of car.
