Now They're Burning Stuff Too!
Every day I get up early and go for a walk while I pray. It's usually a peaceful time of the morning, the delicate pastel color of the sunrise and the cooler temperatures before the heat of the day. I check out the cars outside the church across the road where the guys gather for their early morning prayer meeting whilst I walk and pray and try and get my thought in order for the rest of the day. This morning I was walking along when I smelled a burnt smell and recalled a story on brush fence fires that I heard on the news earlier (sorry no news links). Sure enough there was a brush fence with a large burnt patch. I swear that this suburb gets more worrying all the time. |
